A wonderful first doll for your young child! Our NEW Camden Dolls are handcrafted with more expressive facial features and the hair has been redesigned so that it covers the entire head regardless of the hairstyle.
Imitation is an important part of children's play and this often means acting out the role of the parent. It is a great reward to observe our children nurturing their dolls, much in the same way that we nurture our children.
Lovingly handmade by a Fair Trade cooperative in Lima, Peru, each doll is created with simple embroidered facial features that allow a child to imagine their doll in many different moods and situations. Only natural fibers are used in the creation of these sweet little companions. Clean and carded 100% wool is used for the stuffing and 100% cotton is used for the skin, clothing and embroidery.
All of the girl dolls hair can be restyled. Each doll is made by hand by hearing disabled women in our Fair Trade cooperative in Lima, Peru.

They use the highest quality materials, all certified non-toxic. Toys made from natural materials such as wood, silk, wool or beeswax have a warm and honest quality that does not give a false impression of weight, mass or touch.
(FP) It is very important to Camden Rose to not just have their products made in the USA but to also use USA materials whenever possible. Most of the wood used in their products is sustainably harvested in Michigan. One of the major mills where their wood comes from is even powered by their scrap wood and extra power is used in the town.
