This wonderful rattle is perfect for a baby's hand. It is crafted from a single piece of cherry or walnut with the rattle hidden inside. Since there are no chemical finishes on this rattle there is no worry when it makes it into your baby's mouth. An an occasional maintenance coat of beeswax finish (such as the Three BEEautiful Bees Beeswax Polish) is suggested to protect and maintain the beauty of the wood.

Mossy Creek toys are made from sustainably harvested hardwoods, locally grown in their area. The wood is air dried for a year or dried in a solar kiln to prepare it for use. All toys are made in their shop in Arkansas. Some small parts such as wheels and knobs are purchased from a factory that specializes in those parts. These parts are usually made out of locally grown birch. Mossy Creek does not use any chemical finishes or stains on their toys although they are dipped in a food grade mineral oil.
