Camden Rose, the makers of A Child's Wooden Bowl, have created this beautiful wooden plate from a single piece of premium cherry the same way that they did over 150 years ago. Although these plates can be used for play, we strongly encourage bringing them to your dining table for the kids. They are finished with Three Beeautiful Bees All-Natural Beeswax Polish which is perfectly safe for eating.

Care: These plates may be used for both hot and cold food, but can not be placed in the oven. To maintain the life of the plate you must not wash it in the dishwasher. Instead, use water and a small amount of mild soap and hand dry. To preserve it for generations, you should occasionally add a beeswax polish.

Most of the wood used in their products is sustainably harvested in Michigan. One of the major mills where their wood comes from is even powered by their scrap wood and extra power is used in the town.
