This toy, sometimes called a 'milking toy', used to be used to teach kids how to milk cows. Pull the ropes, alternating left and right, and the bear climbs to the top. Release the tension and it drops back down.
(FP) My 2 1/2 year old LOVES this toy. He is thrilled that he can make it move all the way up to the top by himself, then he lets go to watch it drop down again. Then up it goes again (and again and again...).
Mossy Creek toys are made from sustainably harvested hardwoods, locally grown in their area. The wood is air dried for a year or dried in a solar kiln to prepare it for use. All toys are made in their shop in Arkansas. Some small parts such as wheels and knobs are purchased from a factory that specializes in those parts. These parts are usually made out of locally grown birch. Mossy Creek does not use any chemical finishes or stains on their toys although they are dipped in a food grade mineral oil.
