Klean Kanteen bottles are made from 100% recyclable, high-quality, food- grade stainless steel that doesn’t need a special lining like some other metal bottles. Every Klean Kanteen is also completely BPA-free and won’t leach chemicals, toxins, or funky flavors into lemonade, sports beverage or other drink.
The wide mouth makes it easy to throw in ice cubes, and makes it easy to clean too—just scrub it out with soap and water, or toss it in the dishwasher. Choose a flat cap or a loop cap for this bottle. Both have stainless steel bottoms so that only stainless steel touches the liquid.
I keep this one full of water in my car as a backup to refill the small more portable Klean Kanteens. Unlike plastic water bottles, this one can heat up and cool down in the car and the water taste the same as it did to start. Try that with a plastic bottle.

Manufacturing Conditions: Klean Kanteen visits their manufacturing facilities 4-5 times per year and perform audits every six months to ensure all of their products are produced with respect for the environment and fair labor standards, including: the ethical treatment of factory workers, child labor, wages/benefits, health and safety, etc. Additionally, they do regular lab testing on random shipments through a local lab in the U.S. to ensure their products are made per their specifications, are free of hazardous substances such as lead, and do not leach chromium, manganese, etc.
