This is a wonderful introductory knitting kit. Called a Knitting Nancy (or Ned), Knitting Spool, Knitting Knobby, or what we prefer, Knitting Tower, this wooden cylinder will enable children to get right into the art of knitting up tubes which can be used in many different ways: a strap to hold a doll in a stroller, a headband, a band to tie on a silk or a rope to hoist up a heavy basket. Vary the gauge knit by using either the 4 or 6 'towers' side. Includes 20 yards of 100% USA wool yarn.

One of the major mills where their wood comes from is even powered by their scrap wood and extra power is used in the town.
