Soft, supple leather for baby's tender feet. So close to being barefoot, yet the suede sole keeps new walkers from slipping and falling. Soft soled shoes help strengthen arches and improve stability when learning to walk.
Handmade by a local Athens mom using formaldehyde-free leather.

MiaLa was founded in 2002 after fulfilling many custom bag and clothing requests for friends and friends of friends and friends of family and so on. After years patterning, designing, costuming, sewing and a few living in NYC, I decided to start a company.

Designing for an outdoor pack company taught me the importance of small details such as long term thread life while NYC taught me oh, how the fashions can change.
